pft, waste of money. Buy it today, have it stolen tomorrow!
Why are integras so easy to steal. What Honda hath given. Honda hath made easy to have taken.
WHY DO THE HONDA GODS TOY WITH US!!!!

I will bet you four whole American dollars that the top three bidders drop out after inevitably failing to secure 84 month loans.

Ricers don't have that kind of money.

Ricers come in all shapes, sizes and income levels.

As HondasFordsVolvos said above, ricers (thankfully) don't have that kind of money.

That's true. But there always are the kinds that'll strip the hell and replace everything with horrible aftermarket blergh in order to make a "unique" car. For example, every Supra ever.

BRB, trying to find the green and yellow "unique" Civic I posted.

Worth every penny. It's like a 911 GT3 except it's actually rarer. No, seriously it is.

I see no rice. Just some one who wasn't afraid of modifying their redhead.

I'm not sure I have the heart to reveal the truth about this car to you. Wait... yes I do!

except this will be cheaper to maintain

I just bough a much more common breed of Integra for this reason. It was the only nice one I'd seen that wasn't all sorts of stupid.
![]() 03/16/2015 at 22:51 |

You don't live in Washington, do you? Because I just sold my Integra, and it was one of the few that wasn't all sorts of stupid.
![]() 03/16/2015 at 22:52 |

Ironically, that makes it worth more.

They came easy to steal, but 4 hours of basic work can make them impossible to steal without a flat bed.
Relocate hood latch cable through fire wall
Protect hood latch with sheet metal
Install fuel cutoff switch
Install relays so auto-locks only unlock when the windows see power
Simple alarm with hidden battery backup sirens, in the cabin and in the wheel well.

I bet he punched the wall when the oil pump fell on his fender.

This is true. But I feel like doing that to this would some how ruin the stock appeal.

We tend to congregate on the lower end of the income spectrum it's true.

Where were you 5 years ago when I was shopping for an integra? Lol.

opposite end of the country, unfortunately. I'm in New York. (But the car came from California!)

I sold it for $5200 with 180,000 miles withing a week of having it listed. It didn't go cheaply into the night, I'll put it that way.
![]() 03/17/2015 at 13:13 |

What did you buy it for? I just sold mine for $5200 with 180,000 miles. 2000 GSR with immaculate leather interior.
![]() 03/17/2015 at 13:31 |

$3900 for 79k 2000 GS with the auto. Has leather, but needs a good interior cleaning.
Clean title, new paint, new tires.
Needed a timing belt (soon, still good for now) and someone to do the legwork with the DMV before it hits the road.

Timing belt is good for 110,000 miles, but you might want to check the integrity of it (pun intended). If the car sat for a while it could be cracked.
If you want to undertake some simple steps to help limit your teg from being stolen you should do the following:
Relocate hood latch cable through the firewall, protect the hood latch with sheet metal, add a relay interrupt to your power door lock so they only see power if the windows see power (ie, the ignition is on), and install a fuel cutoff switch. All can be done in less than four hours. Here's a good writeup:
